We invite you to the 2010 edition of the CoQuS Summer School on Frontiers of Modern Quantum Physics. The school is aimed at an audience of advanced undergraduate students, graduate students and junior post-docs. The school comprises four lecture series on modern topics of quantum physics, held by international experts of the respective fields:
Open Quantum Systems (Heinz-Peter Breuer)
Cavity QED (Jean-Michel Raimond)
Ultracold Fermi Mixtures (Henk Stoof)
Each lecture series will consist of approximately 4 lectures of 90 minutes each. Additionally, there will be plenty of time to discuss with the experts and fellow attendants, both during the day and during the social programme (to be finalised), which will contain, among other, a conference dinner and a barbecue (weather permitting).
Special Colloqium: Econophysics (Rosario N. Mantegna)
Conference Fee: 150 EUR (includes coffee breaks, conference dinner, and social events). You will receive payment information after you have registered. Travel and accommodation are not included.
Poster session: You are invited to present any current research in the form of a poster that can be displayed in the lecture hall during the duration of the school. Poster presentation is not compulsory, but if you plan to do so, please fill in the poster title field in the registration form. A preliminary title is sufficient.
